I don't know about Luya fishing. Maybe different places have different names. In my hometown, we used to do fishing on live baits i. e. using small minnows to catch big monsters. Here I am desperate to find some place in the vicinity.

No, no, it's Beijing. It's not like you said that using small fish to catch big fish. Beijing doesn't have too many aggressive fish and very few predatory fish like catfish. It's not good in Beijing to catch these predatory fish in the capital

is it allowed to do fishing these days at this reservoir? what method is reccomended. float fishing or deep bottom? would be grateful if someone could point out best location on this reservoir.

This reservoir was forbiddened recently cause of covid-19. The goverment don't allow people gather here. It is highly recommend that you should wait at home...In normal time ,fishman can go to XIUSHUI fishing village(also named the second dam）
